Checkout/Return Procedures
The purpose of our leveled libraries is to provide classroom resources to our teachers in support of the Comprehensive Literacy Program. Although parents and students do not have direct access to these classroom materials, the regular school libraries have a multitude of "just right books" for all reading levels and are glad to accommodate parent/student requests. Brain Boosters for Inferencing Skills	Puzzles that work well for developing Inferencing Skills.

Madison School Language Arts Website	Reader's Workshop comprehension tools that align with Mosaic of Thought strategies.
The Reading Lady	Multiple resources for teaching comprehension strategies. Aligns with Strategies that Work and Mosaic of Thought.
Reading Resources	Fantastic resource for struggling readers. The content consists of current and past news stories on topics such as the environment, politics, science, culture. Students may choose to read the text, listen to the text, or view a short video clip. Each module includes interactive activities to test vocabulary and comprehension.
Roy the Zebra Online Story	Interactive literacy games, worksheets, GR discussion sheets, songs, and more for online story called Roy the Zebra.
Scholastic's ecatalog	In chart form this gives the word count, Fountas and Pinnell levles, lexile levels, interest level, grade level, reading level genre and a strategy skill that can be linked to the book.
Teaching with Heart	Printable resources to accompany Mosaic of Thought and Strategies that Work
Teacher Resources (Teachers.Net)	Lots of teaching resources, including minilessons, guided reading samples, etc. Go to Lessons, Lesson Bank - Category: 4 Blocks
Teaching Tools	General "create your own" teaching tools such as Puzzlemaker, Lesson Planner, Quiz Center, and Worksheet Generator using premade templates.
