This course is designed to teach students about basic home repairs and maintenance. Items to be covered include painting and decorating, materials estimation, electrical and plumbing repairs, furniture repair, and types of fasteners. These skills will be acquired through hands on technology learning activities.

TSA Technology Student Association (Course #629) .50 credit
The purpose of this class is to prepare students for the challenges of a dynamic world by promoting technological literacy, leadership, and problem solving, resulting in personal growth and opportunities. There is a competition component to this course where students will travel to conferences and compete in technological events against students from other surrounding schools. Competitive events include but are not limited to CAD, desktop publishing, dragster design, flight endurance, promotional graphics, manufacturing, transportation modeling, and problem solving.

Programming with Alice (Course #344) .50 credit
Alice is an innovative 3D programming environment that makes it easy to create an animation for telling a story, playing an interactive game, or a video to share on the web. Alice is freely available and is designed to be a student's first exposure to object-oriented programming. It allows students to learn fundamental programming concepts in the context of creating animated movies and simple video games. In Alice, 3-D objects (e.g., people, animals, and vehicles) populate a virtual world and students create a program to animate the objects.

This will be a nine week course designed as an exploratory course to help students determine if they have the skills to be successful in a foreign language class. During this class students will have the opportunity to experience 3 weeks each of Spanish, French and German.
