Greetings,

2007-2008 continues to be an exciting year in the General McLane School District. After all of our incredible successes with the academics, marching band, theater programs and athletics last year our motto this year was "Champions in Everything."

This was not defined in wins and losses but in an attitude of excellence. We have seen that attitude in all that we have done this year and what a year we are having.

If you are reading this and you are new to General McLane keep reading, searching and asking questions. You will be amazed what an incredible district this is, and yes, what you will hear is true - it is that outstanding.

If you are a community member, a student, a parent or staff member - we are "Champions in Everything" but we can not rest on our past accomplishments. Excellence must be a goal every day and our efforts to be all that we can be is never finished. Keep doing all that you can do to be truly outstanding.

I could not be prouder to be the Superintendent of this district. I believe this position allows me to be a servant to our students, our staff and our community. I take this responsibility very seriously.
